Families Run for Ovarian Cancer 2nd Annual ROC STAR 5K

Join us as we run to find a cure for Ovarian Cancer. Proceeds go to FamiliesROC, a not-for-profit organization that promotes health and wellness for ovarian cancer patients and their families. FamiliesROC supports research and awareness of this silent killer and donates funds to Washington University Research Group, the National Ovarian Cancer Alliance, and SLOCA (St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness.) 1 mile run will immediately follow the 5K finish. There will be free food and drink, and fun!

5K Race
Event will be accurately measured and timed by Big River Running Company. Lovely scenic course that winds through one of St. Louis's best gems.
1 mile
1 mile run/walk will immediatey follow the 5K finish and is a family friendly event. Come out with your family, your strollers, your dogs and enjoy a beautiful fall morning at the park.
Prizes and Goodies
Cash prizes for the top 3 male/female finishers overall. Medals for top 3 male/female age group finishers. All participants who sign up by September 20 will receive long sleeve t-shirt and race goodie bag.
Survivors
Survivors who walk/run will be given a special teal long sleeve t-shirt to designate their winning the battle as well as special treats and gifts. This is a race to celebrate the human spirit's ability to overcome odds, and we will be celebrating the survivors and their families. Come and walk/run with your fellow survivors and feel the joy and comradarie.
Packet Pick Up
T-Shirts and Packets can be picked up Tuesday-Friday @ Big River Running Company, 11059 Manchester Road, during normal business hours.

Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 7am.
