St. Louis has two primary sources of support groups for women with a diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

• The Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis, formerly known as the Wellness Community of St. Louis, offers professionally led support groups, educational workshops, nutrition and gentle exercise programs and stress-reduction classes. All are free of charge for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. Its Gynecological Cancer Networking Group meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month at CSC’s facility, 1058 Old Des Peres Road in Town & Country.
• Together is a free support group for women affected by gynecologic cancer that meets each month at Barnes-Jewish Siteman Cancer Center, on the first floor at 660 South Euclid Avenue, St. Louis. The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Call 314-362-4180 for more information.

Women with ovarian cancer and related problems, and their family and friends, can join a free online discussion list hosted by the Association of Online Cancer Resources (ACOR).
