Refund Policy

Overall Policy

Our nonprofit organization generally does not grant refunds, but we value your support and want to keep you involved in our vital mission, therefore we would welcome feedback on how to better serve the needs and interests of our donors and special-event attendees.

Special Event Refunds

Refunds of event fees will only be honored if the cancellation is made on or prior to the event's early registration deadline. If you are unable to attend the event, and the early registration deadline has passed, you may transfer your registration to someone else (e.g., a friend or colleague) for that event. We do not grant refunds for no-shows.

If you would like to cancel a registration, please email events@sloca.org.

Donation Refunds

Consideration will be given on an individual case-by-case basis to a request for return of a donation. If you wish to have your donation returned, please send a written letter of your request to:

In the letter please provide the following information:
1. Your full name, address information
2. Amount of donation
3. Date of donation
4. Description of donation type (Check, Credit Card)
5. A phone number where you can be reached
6. Reason for your refund request
