Each year almost 22,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer – nearly 200 in the St. Louis area alone. For many of these women, their diagnosis may be the first time they hear the words “ovarian cancer.” This is because there is no diagnostic test and symptoms are often misdiagnosed.
