SLOCA puts on two signature events each year to raise money for its awareness programs and to fund research grants. The first is the Living Out Loud dinner auction, held each spring. The other is the fall Fashion Show and luncheon.

Each year we sponsor Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day at Busch Stadium to raise the profile of the disease within Cardinal Nation and raise money.

In addition, we are involved, directly or indirectly, in several other events that raise money and awareness for ovarian cancer, including:

• Rise & Shine for a Cure: 108 Sun Salutations yoga event each August
• SLOCA Night at the Racetrack at Fairmount Park each June
• FamiliesROC, a 5K held each September in Forest Park.

We captured candid snapshots of many of those attending SLOCA's dinner-auction April 30 at Ameren's Corporate Headquarters. Volunteers and friends of SLOCA mingle during the pre-dinner silent auction. The event raised more than $30,000.
